I am Janice Volk is from Cuba, NY. I am a life-long Republican and NRA member. I was born and raised in western New York. At the moment, I am running for the NY-29 Congressional seat. My competitors are Tom Reed (R-Corning, NY) and Matt Zeller (D -Victor, NY).
I am a wife of twenty years, a mother of six and grandmother of four. My family and I have lived in Cuba, NY for 14 years. I've earned my degree, watched my children graduate, and worked in the health care administration field - all right here in western New York.
I've been involved in numerous community organizations and military support groups: from the Woman's Republican Club to the Women Air Force Service Pilots War Memorial to a board member of Kevin Guest House. (By the way a wonderful, supportive and inexpensive place to stay if a loved one has a prolonged hospital visit).
Some of my hobbies include: flying my plane, skeet shooting, painting, writing and raising my alpacas.
