Volk Will Run as Write-In Candidate
Janice Volk (R-Cuba, NY) announces today that she will continue her fight for the NY-29th Congressional District as a write-in candidate. The slogan of her campaign will be: Don’t write me off, Write me in! Volk said, “I choose to move forward with my candidacy because I do not see a viable Republican/Conservative candidate running in this Congressional District.” Volk continues, “I believe that it is my moral duty to give the voters of this district a real choice in November.”
Volk adds, “Constituents all over NY-29 have asked me to continue my Congressional run and I choose to do so. There appears to be real resentment toward any candidate who is running with an establishment party such as Democrat or Republican. Those who are tired of politics as usual can take a stand and write in my name on the ballot. A vote for me is a vote against Big Government and the Political Machine,” said Volk.
The Volk Campaign points to Indiana’s 9th Congressional District and Georgia’s 12th Congressional District. Both of these Congressional Districts have candidates who are running as write-ins. “We do have one thing working in our favor, due to the recent ballot reform, writing in a candidate’s name is very easy,” Volk said. “The new ballot configuration allows voters to simply write my name at the bottom of the ballot,” adds Volk.
Volk’s Manager, Joseph Bassage said, “We collected many signatures for the Tea Party Line from voters all over the district and we were up late into the night counting signatures. However, in the end, we did not have the manpower to be all over this vast district in just 10 days. As a result, we were unable to collect the required 3,500 signatures to secure a place on the ballot.” Bassage continued, “We are disappointed in the outcome but we worked as hard as humanly possible. I could not be more proud for what this campaign has accomplished thus far.”

Janice's Letter to NY-29
To the Good People of NY-29,
As many of you may know by now, my name is Janice Volk and I am running to represent you in Congress this November.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have encouraged and supported me in my fight to give NY-29 residents a true choice in representation. It has been very heartwarming to know that so many people support the inspirational beliefs of limited government and personal liberty. In spite of the many obstacles I have faced, I have always been about one thing - the people. Not the party, not the apparatus that deliberately works against the underdog - the people.
I honestly believe that I am the only true Conservative candidate who can represent NY-29. My ideals are the same as most of yours: protect the Constitution, reject Cap and Tax, combat illegal immigration, demand a balanced federal budget, tax reform, fiscal responsibility, repeal and replace “ObamaCare,” stop any increase in taxes (personal and corporate), and end the pork. Most importantly, I believe that the only true road to prosperity is the one that gets government off your backs and out of your wallet.
A representative of the people should first and foremost be trustworthy. As a representative, I need to mean what I say and say what I mean. For example, if I believe in fiscal responsibility, then I do not accept stimulus monies for my personal benefit. I will stay consistent with my message and my actions. Hypocrisy is unacceptable.
Thomas Jefferson said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” There are a small number of people who have indeed tried very hard to silence me, but I’m not giving up on you just because the political elite with money and power have gotten vocal.
If you want someone who is not bought and paid for, someone who has worked and raised a family in this area with integrity and honesty, and someone who believes in you and your voice, please “Write Me In, Don’t Write Me Off.”
It’s very simple to vote for a write-in candidate. Simply go to the bottom row (labeled “Write-In”) of the ballot. Then, use the pen given to you and write my name in the Congressional column. I sincerely hope you will follow your conscience and join me as we all face a very crucial time in American history.
Warm Regards,
Janice A. Volk

Who Is Janice Volk?
I am Janice Volk is from Cuba, NY. I am a life-long Republican and NRA member. I was born and raised in western New York. At the moment, I am running for the NY-29 Congressional seat. My competitors are Tom Reed (R-Corning, NY) and Matt Zeller (D -Victor, NY).
I am a wife of twenty years, a mother of six and grandmother of four. My family and I have lived in Cuba, NY for 14 years. I've earned my degree, watched my children graduate, and worked in the health care administration field - all right here in western New York.
I've been involved in numerous community organizations and military support groups: from the Woman's Republican Club to the Women Air Force Service Pilots War Memorial to a board member of Kevin Guest House. (By the way a wonderful, supportive and inexpensive place to stay if a loved one has a prolonged hospital visit).
Some of my hobbies include: flying my plane, skeet shooting, painting, writing and raising my alpacas.
Please visit my website to learn more about me. http://www.janiceforcongress.com/
I will be posting on a fairly frequent basis so people can stay current with me.
With warm regards,
Jan
